Study of 'hu' هو
£380.00
This unique piece includes a calligraphic study of the word 'hu' (هو), derived from the Avestan language of Iran, which is also the root of the word ‘honar’ (art), written in Persian as ‘هو’ and ‘هنر’. In this context, it signifies good thought.
The work is created on paper prepared using an antique-style technique with Amiri colors. The writings on the paper combine traditional and modern Persian calligraphy with typography. Inscribed words include Love, Hu (a spiritual expression), Forgiveness, and Patience.
Additionally, there is a half-length portrait of a soldier painted in the style of lithographic prints, symbolizing the struggle for love and patience. Handmade seals designed by me are applied in various areas of the work, adding to its uniqueness.
